Our regular singing season may be finished, but the fun keeps going through the Summer months with plenty of activities!

The first WMVC golf outing of 2026 was this week with 11 hardy souls braving the scorching heat and testing course at Dougalston! ⛳ Well done lads!

WMVC teamed up with the song's writers Alison Walker & Neet Neilson, with the children & staff of Broomhill Primary School in Glasgow to record 'We Dream Big!', our Scotland World Cup 2026 song - in support of Beatson Cancer Charity and the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal! 💛💙

As we reach the end of another wonderful WMVC season, it was that time of year again as we held our Annual Dinner & Awards for season 2025/26 at the brilliant (and newly refurbished!) Bearsden Golf Club!

A special night for all the choir to come together and celebrate a season of singing, performing, fundraising and friendship!

Launched in 2018, 'The Westies' are the choir's annual awards where we recognise and reward achievements within our choir.

Some of the lads were out recently, singing for all the golfers at Frank & Helen Dunn's annual fundraiser for our Chosen Charity, Playlist for Life!

Bobby from The Bluebells was taking part, so we managed a wee sing with him of his Number 1 hit, 'Young At Heart'! 🎶🌟

The event raised an incredible £33,000! Well done to the Dunn's, the lads, and everyone who took part! 💚

🎶 BRAVO! WHAT A WEEKEND! 🎶

What a wonderful concert series we had! From the very first note to the final standing ovation, the atmosphere at all our concerts was amazing — full of energy, joy, laughter and smiles from start to finish! Singing to over 600 people over 3 shows – we love it!

The lads were on top, top form yet again with a standard of singing that was truly exceptional, and the warmth and enthusiasm from our audiences lifted us to new heights!

And the star on top? We’re thrilled to say that an amazing £2,760 was raised for our chosen charity Playlist for Life — music doing what it does best, bringing people together for a great cause! 🎵

A massive thank you to our wonderful audiences both in the room and around the world who came along to support us!

Once again… BRAVO! 🥳🎶

It's been a busy and exciting end to the season for the choir, and on Wednesday night it was topped off with an amazing experience for us - singing in the The King's Glasgow to a packed audience! We were performing 'Chandelier' with the incredibly talented cast of The Choir Of Man, along with fabulous fellow choirs Glasgow Sing Space Musical Theatre Choir & Scottish Police & Community Choir! ⭐

The audience didn't know we were there, so it was a big surprise as we all stood at the end of the show to sing with the lads, and as you'll see, to a standing ovation! 👏

Yet another memorable and unique experience in the world of WMVC - well done chaps! ⭐
