Pink October Bawtry Is Back!!!
Pink October began in Bawtry in 2014 and has grown into a much-loved community campaign that brings together local businesses, residents and visitors throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month. What started as a local awareness initiative has continued to expand year after year and, in 2026, will celebrate its twelfth year of fundraising, awareness raising and community engagement.
Over the years, Pink October has seen the town turn pink throughout October, with businesses decorating shopfronts, organising fundraising activities and supporting breast cancer charities. The campaign has become a key part of Bawtry's community calendar, raising significant funds while helping promote important messages around breast health and early detection.
All in Pink 2026
In 2026, the campaign enters an exciting new era under the banner of"All in Pink", as Bawtry joins forces with neighbouring towns Tickhill and Epworth to create a larger regional campaign supporting CoppaFeel!, the UK's leading breast cancer awareness charity for young people.
A programme of fundraising and awareness events will run both in the lead-up to October and throughout the month itself, bringing businesses, community groups and individuals together in support of a shared cause. The campaign aims to engage people of all ages while raising vital funds and awareness.
Details of how to donate directly to CoppaFeel!, together with information on how to support individual events and fundraising activities, will be announced in due course.
By working together, Bawtry, Tickhill and Epworth hope to make All in Pink 2026 the biggest and most impactful campaign in the event's history, encouraging conversations about breast health, promoting early detection and supporting life-saving awareness work.
