Need an emotional boost mid-week? You're not alone!
I always find myself uplifted at the end of a session at Bath Tuneless Choir. Whatever the week has thrown at me, there's something almost magical about getting together with others and belting out some tunes from across the decades - even if I don't sing them particularly well.
Evidently, thereโs actual science behind it: singing releases endorphins, reduces stress, helps you bond with people quicker, and is good for the immune system. Who knew! We're basically performing a public service ๐
Why not come down and see how you feel afterwards?
โจ No auditions (your voice is always welcome)
โจ No reading music or setting of parts (sing whichever bit feels right!)
โจ No pressure to improve (just be your wonderful noisy self with the rest of us)
(Disclaimer: You don't actually need to be a bad singer to join in with us, the point is you don't have to be a good one!๐)
Let me entice you with a few songs we're going to do this week
๐ถBrown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison
๐ถNight Nurse - Gregory Isaacs
๐ถMagic - Pilot
๐ถThat Don't Impress Me Much - Shania Twain
๐ถSweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd
(Plus many more, but you'll need to be there to hear them ๐)
If you'd like to join us, or even just give it a little go, you are SO welcome! ๐
