Following our epic launch with a production of BEN HUR and a community company of 350 in Theatre Royal Bath's Main House way back in 2010, we have worked with over 20,000 people through a variety of activities aimed at creating a deeper understanding, and love of, theatre. We work in schools, community settings and invite you to work here, in the many performance and rehearsal spaces that comprise
Theatre Royal Bath. With an emphasis on active participation and the creation of new, original work, we have produced shows, festivals and events; run courses, workshops, writing groups, theatregoing clubs; and we have set up ground-breaking school projects and year-long Theatre Schools for those looking for a more intense experience. We also run the theatre's volunteer and placement programmes, as well as its series of post-show talks and building tours and regularly work with local partners on a huge range of theatre-based projects. If you would like to get involved or find out more about what we have to offer, contact Engage on 01225 823409 or [email protected]
To date, our programme for adults has been entirely funded by the trustees of the estate of Margot Boyd.
