There was something rather lovely about this weekend’s weddings.

I first met one of the bridesmaids for Sunday’s do when I drew at her wedding back in 2011. Ten years ago I was back drawing at the wedding of the bride’s twin sister - and this weekend I got to complete the set by drawing at this one too.

Three weddings, fifteen years, and a lot of familiar faces along the way.

One of the nicest things about doing this job for so long is occasionally finding myself back among the same families and friends years later - older, possibly wiser, and still willing to let me draw silly pictures of them.

A lovely wedding and a fun crowd. Here are a few of my favourites from the night.

After a long, hot holibobs it’s been good to get back to a bit of scribbling!

Congrats to Mr & Mrs Samuels on their lovely wedding in Newport, with plenty of willing victims and a fine reminder that drawing people for a living is still a fairly ridiculous way to earn a wage.
