Jimmy mc of Bobo Boggle & Co and The Counterfeit Theatre Company, with Sally Handley from ‘Kidzfun’, have collaborated all their experience, props and expertise to bring a fun club for children to enjoy some silly, giggly fun with whizz-bangs and whoops! WHAT are we going to do? (This description is for the Saturday morning sessions only)
A club for children, from Year 1 (4-5 yrs.) to Year 6
(10-11 yrs.) Maximum capacity 60 places. There will be 2 sections to the club; from 10.30am till 12pm we will be doing an activity, i.e. Bobo Boggles Big Fun Show, a disco, arts and crafts, circus skills, mini plays etc. Then, at 12.30pm till 1.30pm we will have an invited entertainer to perform a live show i.e. magic, puppets, theatre, clowning. There are a limited number of 60 places for the activity. Any children who are participating in the activity section of the club and that wish to stay for the show will be invited to stay with us for some calmer fun before the show starts. It would be a good idea for children that are staying, if parents could pack them a little snack pack and a drink. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the activity if they wish. WHY are we doing it, what is the ethos? This is a non-competitive club where the children interact with other ages and work in teams. Shy ones, big-mouths, fast kids, slow kids, brave ones, worried ones, tomboys, tomgirls. We aim to interact with each child on their level of interest. The emphasis is wacky funny silly fun. A place for kids to let their hair down or just let off ha ha! Seriously, with this multimedia, manic world it is nice to a have a safe space where kids can stretch their minds, characters and imaginations. WHEN does it take place? Saturday February 7th, 14th and 21st, from 10.30am – 12pm, and 12.30 till 1.30. . Tickets are £8 for the activity and any sibling will be £7. The show will cost £4 for a child and £3 for an adult. A combined ticket for activity and show is £11
Any child that is booked in for the activity section can watch the show under our supervision however children who come just for the show must be attended by an adult and under their own supervision.
