A Renaissance Mechanical Marvel 🌍

Join Dr Michael Korey, Senior Curator at the Mathematisch-Physikalischer Salon of the State Art Collections in Dresden, Germany, for a fascinating exploration of one of the most extraordinary objects in the new Schroder Gallery: a rare 16th-century Mechanical Celestial Globe.

Step into a printmaker's studio for the day and learn how to make your own beautiful dry point etching print, in this specialist creative workshop.

🗓️Thursday 2nd July, 10am - 4pm
🎫 £85, ticket includes all materials and museum entry

Enjoy a guided tour of our latest exhibition Beyond Impressionism: Printmaking from Manet to Picasso and experience prints made by the masters. Then, enjoy a day of hands-on creativity as you learn how to dry point etch and print your own unique piece, guided by an expert.

Catharine Naylor is an expert printmaker, specialising in relief print and has worked for over 40 years with established printmaking studios and some leading artists and institutions.
