Why is joining an Aerial Hoop session appealing?
Why do some people get so strongly drawn to a particular type of aerial?
And why do so many of us start in one discipline but then migrate to another?
Genuinely, I simply don't know the answers to these questions...
But what I do know is that there is something strangely addictive about doing things you never thought you could do — hanging upside down, spinning round, pulling yourself up into shapes that looked impossible.
It doesn’t feel like normal exercise.
You laugh a lot.
You get bruises in weird places.
You're compelled to do that darn thing over and over again till you get it! Even though you're exhausted.
And honestly? Sometimes it’s just nice to spend time with like-minded people away from the humdrum of your everyday life.
Just you, the hoop, and seeing what your body can do 🖤
