A little invitation for Wednesday evening! 🎶

It's our Box Community Choir Summer Performance at The Queen's Head, Box, starting at 7pm – and everyone is welcome. It's completely free, so if you're local, it'd be lovely to see you there.

There was just one small problem... we realised our end-of-term performance was going to clash with the football semi-final at a football pub! ⚽😂 So we've tweaked the timings and we'll be finishing by 7.30pm, which means you can enjoy a bit of live music and still catch the match.

I've also thrown together a Hey Jude / Wonderwall mash-up. I wish I'd had time to teach it to the choir, but I'm hoping plenty of people in the audience will know it well enough to join in!

Come along for some great singing, a relaxed summer evening, and a proper community singalong. I'd love to see some friendly faces there!

Both of my choirs combined to perform at the South West Choir Convention last Sunday and we had a fantastic time! Loved singing this arrangement by Nickomo of ‘Light My Fire’ by The Doors and we also sang the gorgeous ‘Do Not Carry A Heavy Heart’ by Ali Burns.

It was a great day singing with over 500 other community choir members. Somebody said ‘The world should be run by Community Choirs!’. It would certainly be a more joyous and peaceful one.

Both choirs are open to new singers:

Box Community Choir meet on Wednesday evenings at Selwyn Hall, Box, SN13 8NT, starting back on April 22nd.
