Birdsong from the studio of Linda Franklin is a joyful abstraction; a colourist's dream. This is one of the larger works by Linda, who I've been lucky enough to work with for a few decades now. Professional friendships are wonderful as you grow together. I suspect Linda has a painting in her attic though; she looks younger now than the day I met her. Maybe it's being surrounded by such wonderful colours.

The shadows dance across this oil on panel original from the studio of Lindsey Hambleton. When she's not painting Lindsey is committed to the rural surroundings around her, working and volunteering extensively in and with nature, it is only natural then that she returns to the studio with it in her heart and soul. Wine and Roses from the wonderful Linda Franklin. Who can argue with either of those? This lyrical original painting on canvas exudes elegance and joy in equal measure. At 90cmsq it's also the most popular size for being able to fit almost anywhere in the home. Try and pass this everyday without a smile slowly appearing. ☺️

From the studio of Lindsey Hambleton this painting is one of only two now available from her Coastal Series. they were the last two out of the studio and on the wall yesterday. Still following? They've only just arrived! Thankfully it's warm enough to leave the gallery door open, you could get high on the paint drying.

Here with Telemachus (Odysseus' son) and the Goddess Athena, in disguise. It's all going on. They are extraordinary as uplifting. Anne tackles any narrative that captures her.
