Ollie Young hosts our fortnightly Writers Room and our £1 entry sign-up on the night Open Mic Comedy show.

FRIDAY 5th - Friday Night Comedy
Musical comedian Alex Prescot headlines the club this Friday, supported by Holly Leggett, Ben Docs, and emcee Ollie Young.

SATURDAY 6th - Saturday Night Stand-Up
Club stalwart comedian Matt Price closes our Saturday show, supported by Nick Byard, Holly Leggett, and emcee Ellis Lowe.

Tomorrow, Frances Keyton headlines the Saturday 9pm. Joe Riley, Alfred Taylor and Eloise Dale in support.

WHAT A WEEKEND 🤩💥

Absolute pleasure to have Alfie Brown & Jacob Hawley with us on Friday & Saturday. Watching them do their thing to a room that was full, both with people and laughs - truly a one of a kind experience 🤡

Back at it again tonight with some New Material in the shape of Pint & A Laugh! One of the benefits of being a basement venue is that it’s nice and cool year round 😎. Come chill out and laugh your head off tonight at 17 Alfred St.

Bank holiday weekend and we’ve got a properly silly lineup down in the basement.

Alfie Brown closes all weekend. Chortle Best Show winner, the man Stewart Lee called the best British stand-up he’s seen in years, building a new Fringe hour right in front of you.

On Saturday, Jacob Hawley joins the bill. He’s an ARIA winner, Presenter for BBC Sounds & Radio 4. Hawley’s in road testing jokes ahead of his new tour ‘Fighting Age Man’ which hits The Rondo this Autumn.

Two of the best in the country, three feet from your face. It’s a long weekend, why not treat yourself?
