🎤 WED — The Open Mic, hosted by Ollie Young (Bath’s own Chortle Student Comedy Award semi-finalist)
😂 THU — Thursday Night Laughs with Nick Byard (founder of Mates Rates Comedy Club, Chester New Comedian of the Year runner-up)
✨ FRI — Double header: Stand-Up @ Alice Park with Jarred Christmas (Mock the Week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Chortle Award winner for Best Compère) + Friday Night Comedy with Emma Hughes (2025 Funny Bones winner, Funny Women semi-finalist)
🎉 SAT — Early show @ 7pm with Tom Alban (UK circuit favourite since 2018, storytelling that’ll leave you sweating from laughing) + Late show @ 9pm with Laura Lexx (Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Roast Battle, host of BBC Radio 4 Extra’s The Comedy Club)

☀️🎪 JESTERS GOES ON TOUR 🎪☀️

For the first time ever, we’re taking the show on the road! Friday September 4th, we’re pitching up outdoors at the beautiful Alice Park Cafe for a proper end-of-summer comedy extravaganza. There’ll be food, drinks, and big ol’ belly laughs under stars (and awnings) 🤩

Headlining the night: Jarred Christmas 🎄 AKA Kiwi comedy royalty, Mock the Week and 8 Out of 10 Cats alum, twice-crowned Best Compere at the Chortle Awards.

Joining him, some of our favourite acts from the south-west circuit:

🎤 Emma Hughes | Aussie-born, gloriously odd, and one of the sharpest new voices coming out of the South West scene.

🎤 Jess Lo | Hong Kong-born, Bristol-based, and building a reputation as one to watch on the circuit.

🎤 Ollie Young | Bath’s own dry-witted rising star, who’s been described as “the past, present & future of comedy”

Who’s ready for another week of underground comedy? 🃏

Monday’s the usual tipple of new material, fresh from the notebook, with Pint & A Laugh. Wednesday, Ollie Young’s back hosting the Open Mic. Thursday’s a belter, we’ve got an all-female lineup led by Holly Leggett, one of Bath’s fastest-rising acts. Friday brings Martin Westgate, resident MC of Norfolk’s Hooma Comedy Club and a regular writer for the BBC New Comedy Show, up from the East for the night. And closing us out Saturday, Cerys Nelmes, West Country born and bred, a former firefighter turned leading circuit MC who’s worked everywhere from The Comedy Store to touring for the military.
