🌟😃 A Glowing Parent Sentiment 😃🌟
‘My children have experienced so much through involvement with the Basingstoke Gang Show. From being young children, with no experience of the performing arts, involvement with Gang Show has given them confidence, skills, and a love of the theatre that they would not have discovered otherwise. It’s encouraged them to get involved in other performing arts, to pursue qualifications related to theatre, and has opened doors for them. The opportunities presented by Gang Show have ranged from performing on the main stage at a huge music festival, to taking to the London stage as part of the national Gang Show, performing alongside other Scouts and Guides from across the UK.
Gang Show has not only supported their journeys through the Guiding and Scouting programmes, in giving them skills, celebrating successes, and encouraging community involvement, but has ultimately been an amazingly exciting adventure. Perhaps the best thing that has come out of their involvement has been the memories that they have made, and the friendships that have grown: friendships sustained long after the final curtain falls. Involvement in Gang Show really will have your children “riding along on the crest of a wave”. There’s just nothing like it!’
