Let their imaginations run wild as they step into their very own corner of Valhalla, where small Vikings can play, explore and make legendary festival memories! 🐉

Little warriors and shield-maidens can enjoy a fun-filled drop-off session featuring crafts, stories, water play, creative activities, imaginative adventures and plenty of opportunities to explore and play — with all materials provided.

The sessions will be led by the experienced childcare professionals from CocoRio, so parents can enjoy some well-earned time to themselves, explore the festival, watch a performance or simply relax while their little Viking heads off on an adventure of their own.

Bjarni is not only one of the loveliest people you could hope to meet, but also one of the finest teachers we have ever had the pleasure of watching at work. His passion for sharing his knowledge is infectious, and he has a wonderful way of bringing Viking history, science and craftsmanship vividly to life.

Drop by The Science Viking’s stall beside the Sparring Arena, where you can explore his fascinating display, ask plenty of questions and even have a go at striking a coin or two!

You can also catch Bjarni’s Weapons Demonstration in the Sparring Arena, where he will introduce you to Viking weapons, explain how they were used and show you what they can really do.

If you haven’t met him yet, make sure you do — you are in for a brilliant, entertaining and genuinely educational experience.
