THE BIG PLAY Bedford 💜🧡

Proudly supporting FACES Bedford again this year. Every time you book a ticket a percentage of the sale goes to this incredible charity supporting families and their children in the local community.

We are pretty proud at The Big Play HQ that our events have raised nearly 3k for local charities. Let’s raise some more… grab those tickets and we can all have a mega fun day of play knowing as well we are helping those in need.

✨ The faces behind the account 👋

The Big Play is brought to life by Kate & Vicki. We hosted our very first event in Ipswich in 2025, and it’s grown from there ever since.

Vicki is the founder of Little City UK, and Kate is the franchise owner of Little City - Suffolk. Together, we’ve combined our passion to take The Big Play on the road - bringing these events to communities across the country. By working with local Little City branches, we’re able to tap into their incredible knowledge of small businesses and create something truly special in every location.

But we definitely don’t do it alone…

✨ Meet Anna - our marketing queen 👑
From designing eye-catching visuals and sending out customer emails, to capturing beautiful moments as our event photographer - Anna does it all. She may be behind the scenes, but The Big Play simply wouldn’t happen without her!

📍 Jen - Bedford
Owner of Little City - Milton Keynes and host of our Bedford events. After a hugely successful first event in October 2025, we’re already in full swing planning the next one this October!

📍 Lucy - Basildon
Owner of Little City - Chelmsford and host of The Big Play Basildon. Following an incredible first event earlier this year, we’re busy planning the next and it’s going to be even bigger and better!

📍 Shen - Carshalton
Our newest recruit and owner of . Shen will be hosting our very first Big Play Carshalton this October and we cannot wait to get started!

2026 so far... ✨

What a year it's been already!

It started off a little sticky, with me spending most of January on crutches after tearing a ligament. Thankfully, things picked up from February onwards!

It's been a busy first half of the year with lots of school hires, even more parties, and so many fantastic sessions. We've also loved collaborating with on a super fun event.

We hosted two The Big Play events in Basildon and Ipswich (if you didn't know, that's my little side hustle 😜 - go and check it out!).

Family life has been just as busy too! We had an incredible trip to Tokyo, then spent quality time with family in Australia 🫶🏼, and three weeks ago we welcomed the newest member of our family - a gorgeous chocolate Labrador puppy from RSPCA Suffolk Central

From January to June, we've welcomed over 3,000 children through the city, and I honestly can't wait to see what the rest of 2026 has in store.

Thank you to every family, school, nursery and venue that has supported us so far this year.
