Del Bromham's Blues Devils - Friday 18th October - New Crawdaddy Blues Club - Holiday Inn, Festival Leisure Park, Basildon. Essex. SS14 3DG.

The band that Del formed at school, when just fifteen , was called Stray and that has virtually been his life's work ever since. Stray released their first album back in 1970 when the average age of the band members was about 17. Over the years Del has recorded eleven studio albums and three live albums with Stray, and has been on countless tours and one night stands rubbing shoulders with too many artistes to list! In recent years, the earlier albums have been re-released and have continued to sell well, continually finding new audiences. In September 2012, Del received a 'Lifetime Achievement In Music' award at The Newark Blues Festival, along with Tony McPhee (The Groundhogs) and Andy Fraser (Free). Del's latest project consists of Del on guitar and vocals with Stuart Uren on bass, Karl Randall on drums and Simon Rinaldo on keys, known as. Del Bromham’s Blues Devils.

CONNIE LUSH first graced our stage back in 2001 and has been a regular visitor ever since. One of the Crawdaddy’s favourite acts, Connie has become one of the most sort after artists in Europe. She was the winner of ‘Best Female Vocalist’ no less than five times, earning her a place in the ‘Gallery of Great British Blues Artists’ alongside Alexis Corner and Eric Clapton. She was twice voted ‘European Blues Vocalist of The Year’ in the French Blues Trophies Awards and nominated again ‘Best Blues Vocalist’ 2011-2012. Connie has performed in over 30 countries and played at some of Europe’s largest and prestigious festivals. As well as singing at BB King’s club in Beale Street. She also toured with BB King throughout the UK finishing at The Royal Albert Hall. Connie will be performing her favourite tracks from her past albums and will have on sale her just released new CD ‘Blue On Blue’ which is already garnering rave reviews.
