It is with great sadness that we share the news that lifelong member and our honorary president - Mr Dennis Bloor, has sadly passed away peacefully on Thursday. Dennis was much loved and respected in the theatre world. Having produced and directed numerous plays, pantomimes and other shows, he will always be remembered for his most popular catch phrase of ‘Lines, lines, lines!!’ and ‘Once more, with feeling!’ We take comfort that he is now reunited with his beloved wife, Christine who was also a much loved and respected member of our theatre group.

What a year it’s been for our amazing community drama group — full of creativity, laughter, courage, and unforgettable performances. This photo captures the heart of SBPlayers: a brilliant group of people coming together to perform, support one another, and have a lot of fun along the way.

As we step into 2026, we’re excited for new productions, new faces, and many more moments both on and off stage. Thank you to everyone who has performed, helped backstage, supported from the audience, or cheered us on throughout the year.
