When there’s a job that is a bit outside our skill set, we are very happy to get the help from the wealth of skilled people in our local area.

Our suspended ceilings in the hallways needed to be fire rated, so we got them professionally installed by Jack from , and we are very pleased with the result! Who knew ceilings could be so smart 🤩

A few more finishing touches added to reception this week.

Our logo added to our photo wall, our ‘confusingly amusing’ sign added to what will be our leaderboard wall, and our colourful print added to the front of our reception desk 🥰 We wanted fun and colourful, and I think our branding is definitely showing that 😂❤️

It’s all starting to come together, and we hope to be able to announce an opening date soon 🤞🏼Watch this space!

⭐️ Painting a wall - Part 2! ⭐️

So, here is the second part of me painting this wall. But that didn’t go to plan either!

Half way through I thought someone knocked on the roller shutter door. “Maybe it’s a delivery”, I thought. So I have to go and look, but nope, it was just the wind!!! 🤪😆

Anyway, I finished wall and the video eventually 🤣 thanks for watching!! 🤦🏻‍♀️

⭐️ Painting a wall - Part 1! ⭐️

Some days, things just don’t go as planned. I thought I would capture a quick time lapse video with of me painting this end wall in the corridor.

We decided to change it to our berry colour, rather than have all the walls yellow, so I set everything up, hit record, and start painting.

But then I realise I haven’t got enough paint in the tray, and where is the pot of paint?
….propping up my phone…which is filming! Grrrrr! 🤪

So, that’s why this time lapse is in two parts! 🤣

Hello everyone 👋🏼

Apologies for being so quiet of late. Rest assured it’s only because we have been so busy pushing to get everything finished, so I haven’t had much time to post. Also, as we are now working on the escape room itself, there isn’t much I can show you without giving away our secrets! 😊

We are only a matter of weeks away from opening our doors now, so I spent my Sunday visiting some fab thrift shops in Exeter to gather some more finishing touches for the room, and I completed the day with a trip to the car boot too 🤩

I saw so many fabulous things today. They had a hairband just for me! I really wanted that giraffe, but didn’t get it. I did get the pigeon though! 🤣

Stick with us, we are on the final straight to the finish line now.
