FREE Music Lessons and Taster sessions for children and young people!🎵

We are hosting a free day of music lessons, taster sessions and instrument try-outs for children and young people across Sheffield and South Yorkshire.🌟

Come to Red Tape Central on Saturday 10 October to join the fun!
We will be offering:
• FREE 20-minute lessons with expert music teachers
• "Give It a Go" instrument stalls
• Choir, Samba and Mini Music Makers taster sessions

The day is for children and young people aged 4 – 18 and is a great for them to try a range or instruments, get a taste for what music lessons are like, and try some of our beginner music groups. 🎶

Our new series of Tuning In begins one week today!

Experience music your way, with these FREE sessions in a sensory-aware space at Highfield Adventure Playground.

Tuning In has been designed with neurodiverse 3-5-year-olds in mind. There's live music from Martin Harwood, Ella-May Thornely and guest musicians, child-led musical freeplay and engagement opportunities to enjoy at your own pace.

Join us for the first session on Monday 14th September, and every week until 19th October.

We loved taking The Duck With No Luck Musical Story film to a special screening at the Showroom Cinema as part of their first PLAY festival.

If you missed it, there's another first for Concerteenis coming up this month, with our debut Silent Disco at Site Gallery on Saturday 26th September.

Grab your ghost costumes - because our 2026 Halloween family gig is now live!

Don’t miss the return of this popular annual concert on Saturday 31st October, the big day itself and the end of the autumn half term.
Everyone’s favourite acoustic duo Mambo Jambo will cast a spell on the audience with their upbeat mix of music.
And for the first time we’re heading to an exciting new venue, The Steamworks in S2.
This unique space near Bramall Lane will give us extra space, a more central location and the chance to purchase coffee and snacks during the experience.

📢 Our free musical series for children who experience the world a little differently returns this month!

Tuning In has been designed with neurodiverse 3-5-year-olds and their families in mind.
Every Monday, from 14th September 14th until 19th October, we’ll create a sensory-aware space at Highfield Adventure Playground
Expect live magical music from Martin Harwood and Ella-May Thornely, plus three guest musicians, over the six weeks.

For this series, we’ve also released individual tickets for each relaxed session.
So you can come just once, to multiple sessions or every single week, to enjoy music your way.

Another major milestone - Concerteenies has our FIRST proper office!
We’re over the moon to now be based at The Workstation in Sheffield city centre.

From founding as a one-woman ‘band’ working from home, our team has expanded over the years. We have worked together online, in cafes, bars, backrooms of other people’s offices, libraries, cars and more! But now we have our very own home where we can also leave our work behind at the end of the day.

This will really transform how our team works together and develop our work and reach.
