Each of the four ghosts is programmed to have a unique personality to keep the game interesting.

For example:

🔴 Blinky (Red): Chases you at all times.
🩷 Pinky (Pink): Tries to ambush you by aiming for the space four dots in front of where you are heading.
🩵 Inky (Cyan): Unpredictable - his movements are based on where both you and Blinky are on the map.
🧡 Clyde (Orange): Chases you, but loses interest and wanders off into a corner if he gets too close.

Did You Know that Mario was almost Popeye? ⚓

Back in 1981, Nintendo originally designed the arcade classic Donkey Kong to be a Popeye game. You were supposed to play as Popeye, rescuing Olive Oyl from Bluto.

When the licensing deal fell through at the last minute, Nintendo had to quickly invent new characters to save the game. Popeye became a carpenter named "Jumpman" (who we now know as Mario), Olive Oyl became Pauline and Bluto was swapped out for Donkey Kong.

If that single business deal had gone through, the biggest franchise in gaming history might never have existed!
