It is with immense pride and joy that we present the inaugural edition of Tale & Thread, the magazine of the Barnsley Malayalee Cultural Association . This milestone publication was proudly launched by the Mayor of Barnsley, in the distinguished presence of the Madam Mayoress and esteemed Council Members, marking a historic moment for our community.
This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and passion of our entire community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the members who contributed their articles and creative works, giving this magazine its spirit and voice. We also wish to express our sincere thanks to the BMCA Committee for their vision, the Editorial Board for their tireless efforts in refining this publication, and the Finance Committee for their essential support in bringing this project to life. Tale & Thread is a celebration of our shared journey, and we thank everyone who played a part in making this vision a reality.
