The original design, and how we recommend using your Lowery Workstand, is to place the baseplate under the leg of your chair/sofa/recliner. If that is not an option for you, you need to place a weight on top.

Something heavy. It can be anything you like. Be as creative or practical as you like.

What do you do? Do you put it under the chair leg, or do you place something on top?

This piece by was started at . It was a team effort. People had a go on our Silver Grey Lowery Workstand with the magnetic board attachment and magnifying light.

One of our favourite things about the festival was seeing people's faces when they got to try the stand for themselves. That moment of "This is a game-changer" was a delight to see. 🥰

These two are simply incredible! They make Lowery Workstands such a warm, fun and welcoming place to work. They genuinely care about every stand they make and the stitching community they serve.

Ben is the grandson to PK, the inventor of the Lowery Workstand, and worked alongside PK for decades. He brings the energy and the momentum.

Gemma is married to Ben and has worked at Lowery Workstands for almost 20 years. Thanks to Gemma, we have colour Lowery Workstands and excellent customer service. Gemma brings the care and attention.

They are the perfect pair for Lowery Workstands and anyone who has the fortune to work with them or be in their company are all the richer for it.
