Funny Way to Be Comedy brings new, exciting, top comedians to the Teesdale area in the North East of England! Based in Barnard Castle (at The Witham venue) the club has, for several years, brought some of the UK's best to the small rural town. Acts have included John Bishop, Russell Howard, Mark Watson, Jason Cook, Chris Ramsey, Jack Dee, Mark Steel, Bill Bailey, Phil Cool, Omid Djalili and many more.

As it always is, a great pleasure to welcome Mark Watson back to Barnard Castle. Thirteen years since he first joined us. He headlined a show to commemorate the reopening of The Witham (in the Parish Hall - it’s a long story!!). A fun filled evening with loads of laughs.
