The joys of being able to make a ceramic mug for yourself.

It’s not quite sales material but it’s perfect for me. Very modern heritage 😊

I’d better get back to work! I’ve got 350 candles to label, put into gift boxes, box up and the make another batch of 330 candles for a special client.

I’m squeezing in a bit of glazing of our Ceramic Pot candles towards the end of the day too.

Love how all these candles have turned out! Some things are too beautiful to throw away. We are making candles that you don’t have to.

These ceramics pots are some of our slab built pots that we’ve filled with scents that turn moments into rituals.

It’s such a wonderful feeling to know that you have made every element of such a thing of beauty. So proud of them and our perseverance to learn from scratch how to make the pots. I am a candle maker through and through but I make my own candle pots.

I’ve just put them in the shop. These ones are £30.

My work…

We’ve been working on our pots for about 6 months now. I had wanted these out before then but there has been so much work to get both the pots right and the candles right. It’s been tough on both accounts.

On the pots we have tried different production methods that work time wise for us. Making pots is not a quick process at all.

The candles have been difficult to produce, lots of tests with different waxes, wicks, moulds and more so how it burns in our pots. Just as hard as the pots have been to get right.

We are behind. We don’t have the website up and running but we are working on this. However, at the moment the shop is open and we are doing some great regular markets in Derbyshire. I’ve been blown away by the response for the ceramic candles. We have sold out a couple of times. Customers are preferring these to our glass candles.

Keep checking up on us. We are doing some amazing things.

The shop is open and smells amazing. Today’s candle is our Wild Rose & Oud in one of our hand built stoneware pots.

We have a new product! Our wax melt discovery sampler box. The gift boxes hold ten melts with one of each of our fragrances decorated with different botanicals and flowers.

Also new are our machine embroidery gift cards. We’ve started our ‘festive’ cards a bit earlier this year.
