❓ Q: WHAT ARE YOU ENJOYING MOST ABOUT THE PROCESS?

Being a Musical Director is never easy, and it’s a role that doesn’t always get the credit it truly deserves. There are hours of behind-the-scenes work, but when all of that comes together in the rehearsal room and the cast work so hard to create the most incredible sound, it’s beyond rewarding.

There have already been so many highlights throughout the process, but for me, leading this cast vocally, watching them grow in confidence, take vocal risks, trust the process, and believe in their abilities is a feeling like no other.

❓ Q: WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO DURING SHOW WEEK?

I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to watch so much talent grow throughout this process. The biggest bonus is having the chance to perform alongside them.

❓ Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SONG IN THE SHOW?

Bring On Tomorrow – the harmonies, the dynamics, the meaning… all the feels, all the goosebumps. It’s just a moment!

MEET THE CREATIVES! 🧠

❓ Q: What are you most enjoying about the process?

A: The thing I love most about any venture is supporting people, helping them grow, and watching them discover what they’re truly capable of. We’re only a short way into the rehearsal process, yet the growth we’ve already seen from this cast has been nothing short of phenomenal. It may sound cliché, but I genuinely believe this cast is going to raise the roof of the Cryer Arts Theatre. Their talent, commitment, and energy are incredible, and audiences are absolutely in for a treat.

❓ Q: What you’re most looking forward to during show week?

A: Sitting back with an overwhelming sense of pride as this exceptionally talented cast takes to the stage. Seeing all of their hard work come together and watching what I’m sure will be sold-out audiences laugh, cheer, and love every moment will be incredibly special.

❓ Q: What is your song from the show?

A: I can’t choose just one, so I’m picking three - each for a different reason.

Can’t Keep It Down – It’s outrageously fun, packed with cheeky innuendo, and impossible not to smile through. The energy is infectious.

In L.A. – It tells such a complete emotional story within a single song. It’s beautifully written and incredibly moving.

Bring on Tomorrow – A truly beautiful, spine-tingling piece that leaves you thinking long after it’s finished. It’s emotional, powerful, and deeply thought-provoking.

And WOW do the cast of FAME throw themselves all in! The team are absolutely smashing it in rehearsals, harmonies getting tighter, dance moves getting sharper….a show you will NOT want to miss

🎭 WEEK 6 OF FAME REHEARSALS 🎶

Last week was all about heart and hard work 💙

Emma led the cast through the powerful Bring On Tomorrow (Reprise), one of the most emotional moments in the show. Safe to say there were a few goosebumps in the rehearsal room! 😅

Meanwhile, our choreography ladies made the most of the sunshine with our second outdoor rehearsal. Plenty of sweat, smiles, and a healthy dose of Vitamin D as we continued bringing the energy! ☀️💃

Week by week, this incredible cast is coming together, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
