Another wheelwrighting specific tool...

A traveller is used to measure the outside circumference of the wheel and to mark that on to the inside of the steel tyre.

Wool!

This stuff is an incredible resource, ridiculously cheap too.

The Lanolin in this stuff is phenomenal! You could almost squeeze it out into a bucket.

It should be a great natural cushion for the chariot yokes.

Still on with chariot wheels for tonight... yes it's another late one 😅

Fitting steam bent rims tonight.
They finally start to look impressive when the rims goes on.

There's plenty of opportunity to see the skills in use, in person at Chalke this year, we have a fantastic team on this adventure.
