Only one week to go! The penultimate of 2026 is one not to be missed at Boom as our HQ building is full of studiomate market stalls/open studios. Be sure and take the time to explore both floors to check out who's in!

Pop in from 6-9pm to visit, 80A Main St (next to Cex).

We also have a studiomates exhibition seeing out the year in the gallery. Artworks on the theme of darkness (any interpretation) will be on show from that Thursday night through to the end of the year.

Thank you to the guys at who popped next door to Boom 4 for a spot of volunteering last week. The windows are sparkling, much brighter!

Also to the un-photographed "Patron of the Arts" Scott Kennerley and Janet Kirkwood for a day of hard graft patching and washing on Friday - much appreciated.

We've been blown away by the positivity of the local community in our new site and are currently working away to get it up to a visit-able standard - it'll be a work in progress for a while!

🌱2026-2027 - Trade Incubator Hub studios.

Are you looking for a supported starter studio?

We are now seeking studiomates to join the Trade Incubator Hub. Based in the "Boom Studios 2" building on Main Street, spaces in a large shared studio cost £125/month and include your space's rent, utilities and membership of "Trade" (usually £25/month for non-studio-members).

Trade members are supported to work through monthly business startup/improvement themes such as finance, identifying your customer, working with risk, and the popular 6-week website bootcamp in the new year.

The incubator hub is suitable for those building something from scratch, or looking for their first professional studio space.
General Trade membership is available without a studio to all artists for £25/month and is suitable for anyone wishing to start/revive their creative business practices.

Don't quit your daydream 😁 Tag your creative pals!

Fill in our expression of interest form here and we'll be in touch. (Link in bio) https://www.boomstudios.org.uk/trade
