Bangor Summer Festival is proud to announce our final major attraction for 2026… 🌌

In the year his movie hits the big screen, The Mandalorian is coming to Bangor.

This is not something you watch from a distance or catch a glimpse of on a stage. This is your chance to meet him properly, up close, in the middle of your own city as part of the festival.

He will be joined by Grogu, and throughout the day he will be moving through the event on his speeder, creating moments that will stop people in their tracks and pull crowds in wherever he appears. This is the kind of experience people normally travel for, the kind of attraction you expect at major events, not something that turns up on your doorstep.

And this is what makes it stand out. When you’re standing there, right in front of him, hearing him speak and seeing the reactions around you, it becomes very clear very quickly why this is such a big deal.

This isn’t just another addition to the line-up. This is one of the biggest attractions we’ve ever brought to Bangor, and it’s happening as part of a completely free, full-day festival across the city.

Ac mae hwn yn un mawr.

Yn y flwyddyn y mae ei ffilm yn cyrraedd y sgrin fawr, mae The Mandalorian yn dod i Fangor.

Ddim ar lwyfan.
Ddim o bell.
Reit yma yng nghanol y ddinas.

Yn agos. O dy flaen. Fel rhan o’r ŵyl.

Bydd Grogu gydag o, ac yn ystod y diwrnod bydd yn symud drwy’r digwyddiad ar ei speeder eiconig, gan stopio pobl yn eu lle bob tro mae’n ymddangos.

Dyma’r math o atyniad mae pobl fel arfer yn teithio oriau i’w weld.

Y math o brofiad rwyt ti’n ei ddisgwyl mewn digwyddiadau enfawr.

Nid rhywbeth sy’n cyrraedd dy ddinas dy hun yn sydyn… yn hollol rhad ac am ddim.

A phan fyddi di’n sefyll yno o’i flaen, yn ei glywed yn siarad, ac yn gweld yr ymatebion o dy gwmpas — byddi di’n deall yn gyflym iawn pam mae hyn mor fawr.

We’ve saved this for a reason.

Complete Madness will headline Bangor Summer Festival 2026, bringing the music of one of Britain’s most iconic bands to the main stage.

Widely regarded as one of the best Madness tribute bands in the UK, this is a show built on doing it properly. The sound, the energy, the presence on stage… everything you’d expect from a band that knows this music inside out.

We’re proud to welcome Yr Anghysur to the main stage.

A band that has quickly made its mark on the Welsh music scene, bringing honest song writing and a sound that connects with audiences across the country.

Mae Gŵyl Haf Bangor yn falch o gyhoeddi ein prif act Cymraeg ar gyfer 2026… 🎶

Rydyn ni’n falch iawn o groesawu Yr Anghysur i’r prif lwyfan.

Band sydd wedi gwneud argraff fawr ar sîn gerddoriaeth Cymru mewn cyfnod byr, gyda chaneuon gonest a sain sy’n cysylltu â chynulleidfaoedd ar draws y wlad.

Mae eu rhyddhad diweddar, Keep Me a Seat in Paradise, eisoes wedi taro tant gyda gwrandawyr, gan gario neges o gariad, colled a gobaith sy’n aros gyda thi.

Wedi’u gwreiddio yn y Gymraeg ac yn falch o ble maen nhw’n dod, mae Yr Anghysur yn cynrychioli ton newydd o gerddoriaeth Gymraeg mae pobl wir yn ei chefnogi.

Bangor Summer Festival is proud to announce our next act for 2026… 🎤

Bringing Sabrina to life…

We’re bringing the sound and energy of Sabrina Carpenter to Bangor this summer.

The songs they already know.
The ones they’ve been singing in the car, in their rooms, with their friends… now live, loud, and right in front of them.

Performed by the incredibly talented Lauren G, delivering big vocals, sharp choreography, and a full pop show experience.

This will be a family-friendly performance, designed for younger festival-goers to enjoy every moment. 🎉
