Well, after much delay, I finally got the latest Hook guitar finished. Themed on the phenomenon of the "Moon Gazing Hare". (Apparently hares have been observed mesmerised by the moon and gazing at it for long periods of time). It's a Wildflower model, based on the Grand Auditorium size. Myrtle B&S, Red Cedar soundboard, ebony fingerboard and bridge and Mahogany neck. The soundboard markers are lunar phases made from white m.o.p & black m.o.p. as is the 12th. position marker. Also, it sounds rather nice, hopefully some sound bites of it soon.

The latest Hook on the bench. I like a "themed" guitar and this one is based on the phenomenon of the "Moon Gazing Hare", where hares have been observed mesmerised by the moon. Figured Myrtle and Cedar with Bloodwood bindings and figured Mahogany accents.

The Hook Guitars Rowan Fox Big un' is finally done. It was a privilege to share the journey with Rikki, the client. We chatted, sketched and brainstormed lots, and the outcome made it all worthwhile. Ziricote B&S, Fingerboard and Bridge, Bearclaw Spruce soundboard with Padauk & Maple rosette and Flamed Maple bindings and bevel.

Another brilliant night in the Ards townhall with the ever wonderful Anthony Toner. Check out his latest album Early Riser, a mini-album of short acoustic folk guitar instrumentals, recorded using a Hook guitar.
