How has it been one year without this big squishy face. It actually hit me like a bit of a freight train. I’ve been totally fine, remembering with fondness rather than sadness… but for some reason the anniversary just sent all of the emotions from that day all over again washing over me.

I love pushing myself out of my comfort zone and this piece definitely did that. My client was really close to her granny and she still had a beautiful little Russian doll that her granny had as a child.

As a little tribute to her granny she wanted a feminine fineline doll that also incorporated her children’s, her husband and her birth flowers.

I’m so thrilled with how it has turned out, so delicate with such a beautiful meaning. What do you think?
