For a while now we have been talking about making improvements in the club to make it more accessible for more people. We’re happy to announce we’ve finally reached one of our goals with the addition of a stairlift to help anyone who has difficulty managing the stairs.
All of this is made possible by the support of club members and people attending our events. However the club would especially like to thank Sharon Heath for taking the lead on this project and seeing it to completion.
Sharon has just recently stepped down from the club committee after 6 years and this is just one of the many meaningful contributions she has made while volunteering her time at Exploding Dice.
Moving forward we will continue to make further improvements including, for example, a refurbishment of the bathrooms to improve their accessibility.
