Another busy week ahead 🖤

My diary is now extremely limited, with only the following availability remaining before November:

📅 8th September — 4:00–5:30pm
📅 20th October — 10:30am–2:30pm
📅 24th October — 2:00–5:00pm
📅 27th October — 2:00–5:30pm

And that’s it until November!

Don’t forget, you can book directly through our online booking system — whether you want to grab one of the remaining spaces above or secure your November appointment 🖤

From something no longer loved… to something completely new 🖤

Cover-ups aren’t always about going bigger, darker and heavier. With the right subject, placement and use of colour, an old tattoo can disappear into a completely new piece.

Today’s transformation was this beautiful oystercatcher, carefully designed and positioned to completely disguise the existing tattoo underneath — swipe through to see how we did it. 👀

I absolutely loved bringing this one to life, especially all those gorgeous greens through the feathers.

Now THAT’S a cover-up. 🔪🩸

This one was an absolute mammoth of a session.

Taking the existing tattoo and completely transforming it into Jason from Friday the 13th — going bigger, darker and creating something that works with what was already there rather than fighting against it.

We started around 11am and I finally left the studio just before 7pm… and there was a LOT of arm to cover. 😂

I bloody love a challenging cover-up, especially when I get to transform something completely — and pieces like this show exactly why cover-ups are a specialist area of tattooing.

It isn’t simply a case of putting something bigger and darker over the top. Placement, composition, contrast and knowing where you can use — or lose — what’s underneath all matter.

One very long Saturday. One completely different arm. 🖤

A little note about messages …

As many of you know, things can get incredibly busy here at Inkvasion — both in the studio and behind the scenes — and one thing I’m making a conscious effort to do is look after myself a little better and properly protect some time away from work.

So, a little reminder that messages, enquiries and phone calls won’t always receive an immediate response, especially when the studio is closed.

We will always get back to you, but depending on what’s happening in the studio, it may take a little time. Please bear with us rather than sending repeated messages across different platforms — we promise you haven’t been forgotten!

Sundays and Mondays are our days away from the studio, and I’m going to be much more protective of that time. This means work messages and calls received on those days may not be answered until we’re back in work.

I’m incredibly grateful to be busy and to have so many of you choosing Inkvasion for your tattoos and piercings. But I’m also learning that being available for work seven days a week simply isn’t sustainable.

Protecting a little downtime means coming back into the studio refreshed and focused, and allows us to maintain the high standard of work and service that Inkvasion is known for.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding and, as always, for keeping Inkvasion so bloody busy. 🖤

⚡️ WALK-IN WEDNESDAY RETURNS THIS WEEK! ⚡️

Well… I’m completely booked this week. 😅

My next available appointment is Tuesday 13th October, and my next available Saturday is 24th October — so if you’ve got something in mind, it might be worth getting it in the diary sooner rather than later.

Samuel has availability this Saturday, so drop him a message if you fancy grabbing a slot with him…

Non and Lily will both be in Tuesday & Thursday, working on their practice pieces and taking enquiries for future work.

Non will also be joining us for Walk-in Wednesday. We’re STILL waiting for the licensing gods to give us the green light 🙄 so she can’t tattoo you just yet, but she’ll be there getting involved and taking enquiries.

The holiday is almost over and Sascia is back in the studio this week! 🖤✈️

🏖️ Monday & Tuesday – Sascia is still away, with Non & Lily in on Tuesday taking enquiries and getting some fake skin practice in.

🚫 Wednesday – Studio closed.
Our Walk-In Wednesdays return on 26th August! 🙌

🖤 Thursday & Friday – Sascia is back behind the needles and fully booked, with Non in the studio taking enquiries and continuing her practice.

🎨 Saturday – Both Sascia & Samuel are fully booked.

Although Sascia has no availability this week, we’re still taking bookings and enquiries for upcoming appointments, so feel free to pop in or drop us a message. 🖤

Holiday spam incoming… ☀️❤️🇹🇷

Our gorgeous holiday is very nearly over and, quite frankly, I’m not ready to leave our little bubble yet! 🥹

We’ve eaten far too much incredible food, soaked up the sunshine, explored some beautiful places, laughed a LOT, made some amazing memories and generally enjoyed doing absolutely bu**er all work for a change. 😂❤️

There’s been gorgeous dinners, sunsets, cocktails, a Sunday roast in Turkey — because apparently I can’t completely abandon my British roots 🇬🇧😂 — and, for absolutely no reason whatsoever, a random tortoise 🐢 who obviously deserved his own place in the holiday carousel.

Most importantly though, I’ve had some proper time out with my gorgeous man ❤️ and after what has been an incredibly busy few months, switching off and just enjoying being together has been exactly what I needed.

But all good things must come to an end… 😭

I’ll be back at Inkvasion from 20th August, rested, recharged and ready to get back to creating beautiful tattoos 🖤✍️

I’ve got some availability remaining towards the end of September, so if you’ve been waiting to get something booked in, drop the studio a message and we’ll get you sorted.

For now though… I’m squeezing every last drop out of this holiday. ☀️❤️

And apparently making friends with tortoises. 🐢😂

🐉 Dragon forearm complete.

Completed over two sessions, allowing every detail to be built gradually for maximum depth and longevity.

This client wanted an original take on the iconic Welsh dragon, and I absolutely loved bringing this one to life.

If you’re thinking about a large custom tattoo, don’t worry if it can’t be finished in one sitting. Sometimes the best results come from taking the time to do it properly.

✨ Here’s this week’s studio schedule!

This week is a little different, as I’ll be heading away on Thursday for a well-earned break to sun myself with my gorgeous man in Turkey☀️

📍Please note that Walk-In Wednesday will be running from 12 pm–5 pm this week instead of our usual hours, as I’ll be travelling early on Thursday morning.

The studio will still be open on selected days while I’m away, with the team keeping things ticking over, so keep an eye on our stories for updates throughout the week.

📍I also have a last-minute half-day appointment available this Tuesday. I’ll be sharing the details in my stories later today, so if you’ve been thinking about getting tattooed before I head away, keep an eye out!
