After 12 months of planning, 6 months of rehearsing and creating; over 70 costumes; sparkling shoes, brooms, wands, houses, wizard’s chambers, and so much more; we are at the end of our Wizard of Oz run. None of this would have been possible without the amazing, unstoppable, leading force of this production, Gillian; who saw something at the Banchory Panto that made her think we could do a summer show - a musical. Well she was right! Thank you Gillian for spearheading our Wizard of Oz show, directing - and so much more!
As with all productions it is a team effort and special thank yous should also go to Karen our assistant director, our set creators Donald, Fiona, Phylip and Alex;
Our lighting and sound technicians Roy and Brian; choreographers Katie and Kristin, vocal coaches Sam and Vanya; treasurer and ticket sales manager Marcus; costume queen Tracey; make up and hair team; Logan and Rachel our prop duo; the back stage crew; Fiona our town hall fairy; front of house volunteers; Ellie and Amelie the social media creators; chaperones, and sponsors.
