They’ve recently been the subject of the brilliant BBC Radio 4 documentary “Band of Mothers” — telling the story of a band formed at Oxford Poly in the early ’90s, part of the same independent Oxford music scene that gave us Radiohead and Supergrass.

Then came careers, kids and life…

30+ years later, BEAKER ARE BACK. ❤️⚡

Rehearsing. Recording. Playing gigs and festivals. Making new music. And proving that there’s no bloody age limit on being in a band.

Even Steve Lamacq — who featured Beaker on Radio One back in the day — still has two of their original releases in his personal collection!

Most importantly, ALL profits from ticket sales and CD sales go to BARKS. 🐾

Out next Friday 😀

It's with great pleasure I can announce that our new album will be released next Friday 4th September!!!

This has been a little odd to make, although this is our 3rd album release, this is actually our 5th album. Album 3/4 will be coming in due course.

While putting together the recording plan for the 3rd album, we were busy writing away some new bits and got swept away with this sound that we decided to fully indulge ourselves in this project instead.

Rest assured that business will return to normal.

But first of all, how awesome is this album artwork?!??!
Created by the amazing Hajra Tajamal she took on the concept we pitched and went above and beyond to make some truly incredible.

You've already heard the opening and title track from the album so the rest of the album will be a fun surprise.

We can't wait for you to hear this piece of work and look forward to seeing at up coming shows.

Despite the heavy downpours, the sun still shone on us for Day 2 of STRUMMERFEST ’26 at The Apothecary Tap! ☀️🌧️🎸

We had 7 fantastic bands playing across 7 hours, and here are some brilliant pictures from our friend Alan D to prove it! 📸

And we’re not finished yet…
