I made this aged .38 Webley Revolver case in memory of the “OXF & BUCKS” Regt that existed from 1881 to 1958. The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry took part in the raid on the Bridge at Benouville ( later named Pegasus Bridge) from which they arrived in Horsa gliders on 6th June 1944. I visited the Bridge several years ago and it inspired me to make this case.
