Today, we pause to recognise and thank the brave men and women of our Armed Forces—past and present—for their service, sacrifice, and dedication to our country. We also acknowledge the families whose unwavering support makes that service possible, often carrying their own sacrifices alongside those who serve.

Across Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire Freemasons, together with the Oxfordshire HM Forces Committee, are proud to support serving personnel, veterans, and their families through charitable initiatives, community engagement, and practical assistance whenever it is needed.

At Castle Lodge, this commitment is especially close to our hearts. We are privileged to count veterans among our members, giving us a genuine understanding of the challenges, sacrifices, and camaraderie that military life brings. Their experiences remind us that service does not end when the uniform comes off, and that those who have served deserve our continued respect and support.

On this Armed Forces Day, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all who have served, those who continue to serve, and the families who stand beside them. Your courage, commitment, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

A most enjoyable evening and the first of many to come .... 40 diners enjoyed splendid authentic Italian fayre from Bruschietta, Antipasto cold meats and mediterranean vegetables, Penne Arrabiatta and Tiramisu or Aggogato to finish.....
