Exciting news! I'm excited to announce that my new panto AHOY is setting sail this autumn. The Lynden Players will be performing the panto 14-16 December 2023 at Middleton Cheney Village Hall.
If anyone is interested, there will be a presentation evening and read through on Monday 26 June in the barn at The New Inn at 7.30pm. Grab a drink from the bar and come and hear all about it.
Auditions will be on Sunday 2 July at 3.00pm in Middleton Cheney Library- but no need to whisper!
I will be putting together some audition packs - if you can't attend the presentation please get in touch and I will send you a link.
The action is set on a luxury liner during the 1930s; we will be Puttin' on the Ritz with fabulous songs, flamboyant characters and a live band on stage.
Members and non members welcome.

Post show blues have hit me hard today. In a few days I will write something about the past few weeks and how stressful/exhilarating/exhausting/joyous it has been but I need time to process.
I will just leave this picture here for now.

My new two part comedy play Plot & The Plot Thickens will be on tour in North Oxfordshire/ West Northants for four nights this March/April.

With fruity language and adult themes, the show is not afraid to push the boundaries to get a laugh. Described as ‘a masterpiece of kitsch’ you will find family, friendship and love at the heart of this fringe style show, produced and performed by Lynden Players..

A bunch of actors gather to rehearse a play for the firework festival. It’s career-endingly terrible so they hatch a secret PLOT to sabotage the show. What could possibly go wrong? Twelve months later, the gang are reluctantly reunited for a Christmas pageant as The Plot Thickens.

Busy updating my website this morning and promoting the heck out of this exciting new venture for me and Lynden Players. My new show is in rehearsals and will be on tour in March/April.
I wanted to create a fringe theatre experience where the audience is close enough to really connect with the actors.Taking the show out on the road and performing in different spaces is a new (and scary) experience for us and I'm sure our audiences will feel the energy and excitement. Tickets are on sale now- please come along and support us if you are in the area.
