The BCAC 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday 2 April at 6.30pm in the cafe area of The Anglers Rest. Only Members are allowed to attend and vote. If you would like to come along to review the activities in 2025, appoint the Chair, Treasurer & Secretary and other members of the Executive Committee, and hear about the activities proposed for 2026 then visit the website (www.bcac.org.uk) for details of how to become a member.

All Change at BCAC!

After more than ten years, the current trustees of Bamford Community Arts & Crafts, Liz Marshall, Cath Allwood, David Allwood and Jonathan Lindley will be standing down in 2026. David and Jonathan are current Chair and Treasurer and are now ready to pass the baton to a new team at the next AGM.

If you’ve got ideas about the future direction of the BCAC and/or you’re interested in becoming an officer or trustee, then come along to the Open Meeting which will be held on Thursday, 26th February at 6pm at The Anglers Rest.

The current post holders will be there and will be happy to answer questions on what these roles involve. Nomination forms for the formal roles will be available. If you would like to join us in a less formal capacity, there will also be plenty of volunteering opportunities to help with events in return for free admission.

We will be serving complimentary drinks and snacks at the meeting and look forward to seeing you there.

Only a couple of weeks to go! The Wilsons and Seb Stone are coming to sing for us on Saturday 25th October at 7.30pm, at Bamford Institute. Tickets are on sale at wegottickets (search for 'Bamford'). There will be our usual excellent bar with local ales and wine and a fun raffle.
