Catch report - week ending 14.6.26. A cracking Rod Average 10.92
Season Total Stocking to Date: 12,100
The rains have continued throughout
this week๐ง
Unfortunately the weathers not been too kind this week with it being rather wet and damp with constantly changing winds but anglers doing well once they found cover, Sunday was the best with temperature reaching mid 20s. The rains have slightly raised the water level again but fish still sitting in that 2-5ft range.
The main basin is still producing fish along the far bank once the wind dies down and you find some calmer water same as ladybower bay if the wind blows into it, under the trees have been excellent for dry fly especially. Additionally the washing line method has been producing with an orange fab on point and a variety of buzzers underneath.
black daddys are still doing very well. Some have found a smaller, trimmed down body is preferred currently similar to a hawthorn fly. Be sure to pick some up next time you're visiting in the coming weeks! ๐ฆ๐ฃ
