The Carnival Raffle was drawn on Sunday at The Anglers Rest . All the winners have been notified and prizes delivered . The first prize £100 winner Louis was over the moon “I still can’t believe it I have never won anything in my life “ 😀 . What a day for the Bamford Scarecrows ! 🥳 Despite living in such a beautiful location, and being admired and photographed by many passers by, our scarecrows gave notice to quit but were chuffed to bits to be invited by the PDNP to attend the 75th birthday celebrations, which are taking place at their headquarters in Bakewell Wednesday 22nd July. ‘Northern Norman’ took charge of logistics , but was not happy to hear there was no train to Bakewell and no Andrew’s bus to get them all there. Fortunately, the wonderful MWH, sponsors of the Scarecrow Trail came up trumps and arrived with two vans, and along with some Bamford friends, the invited scarecrows were carefully delivered to Bakewell. The Happy Bees 🐝 and Ethel cheered them all up en route and they are now party ready, 🥳🥳 excited to share their messages with the other guests who we hope will Bee Happy with the display ! Bamford Carnival Notices :-
The Carnival Raffle will be drawn at 7pm today at The Anglers Rest . You have to be in it to win it so if you still have any raffle tickets you want to put into the draw please can you return them to The Anglers Cafe by 6pm .
We will also be announcing the winner of the treasure hunt at 7pm so again if you have taken part in the treasure hunt can you return your sheets by 6pm to the Anglers Rest Cafe . In the event of a tie a winner will be drawn .

What a great Carnival Week we have had so far let’s finish with a bang . You can pick up your treasure hunt forms from Bamford Institute from 10am need to be retuned to The Anglers Rest before 6pm . Pick up your Open Gardens Programme on the Green from 11 45am . Full event details below . Happy Sunday.
