🌿 NEW FROM ROSE KHAN: GREENHOUSE 🌿

If your reaction to an enormous, highly detailed full-coverage chart is “Where do I sign?”, you need to see this one! 😍

Greenhouse invites you into a magnificent glasshouse overflowing with plants, butterflies and colourful birds. Look more closely and you’ll discover peacocks, a tumbling fountain, piles of books, a tea set and a little cat watching everything from among the greenery.

It’s the kind of chart where every new section brings something completely different to stitch—and where you’ll continue spotting tiny details long after you begin.

Greenhouse by Rose Khan is now available as a full-coverage counted cross stitch chart, supplied as a black-and-white symbol PDF with a Pattern Keeper compatible file.

This is a true long-term project with a finish that will be worth every single stitch. Who would be brave enough to take it on? 🌿🦚🦋

Today is Gestational Trophoblastic Disease Awareness Day.

I’m sharing something a little different from our usual cross-stitch posts because it is both deeply personal and far too little known.

Gestational trophoblastic disease, or GTD, is a group of rare conditions involving pregnancy-related cells. It includes molar pregnancy and, in some cases, forms that can become cancerous.

Before my own experience, I had never heard of GTD. My molar pregnancy was not recognised and I was eventually diagnosed with gestational trophoblastic cancer. I went through chemotherapy and later had a hysterectomy.

I know how frightening these words may sound, but treatment for GTD is extremely successful. Awareness, correct diagnosis and proper hCG monitoring are incredibly important.

I want more women to know that this condition exists—not to frighten them, but to give them knowledge that I didn’t have when I needed it.

Please help me raise awareness by sharing this post. Even if GTD never affects you personally, this information could matter enormously to someone you know.

More information is available from the NHS: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/molar-pregnancy/
