About Last Week... Revolution Productions were proud to be asked to supply audio support for the official launch of Ulster for Lesley Maltman
For the Launch Event on Thursday, and the Studio Ulster team had planned an absolute extraveganza for those lucky enough to be in attendance.
On top of the sounds through the tour they were greeted by the amazing Arco String Quartet as they reached the end of the tour.
Before our Fabulous MC (and Chair of Studio Ulster) Anthony Lilley introduced the legendary Flautist Sir James Galway who provided a breathtaking live performance to open the main stage of Video Proudction Suite 1.
From there we heard from Chancellor of University of Ulster, First, Deputy First & Economy Ministers, as well as Blue Lights Co-Creator Louise Gallagher.
Head of VP Kyle Olson who highlighted the importance of virtual production industry wide now, and really emphasised just how cutting edge Studio Ulster is. Finally Declan Keeney wrapped up with a hearfelt insight in to what it has taken to come this far particularly in the time frame and what the future holds for Studio Ulster, as well as a special presentation to friend and mentor Frank Lyons.
But as if that wasn't enough, the night finished with an outstanding special solo performance by reknowned Northern Irish singer songwriter Foy Vance.
Congratulations to everyone involved in this incredible event, and to all of the staff and crew of Studio Ulster it surely spells a new and exciting future for Northern Ireland at the foreferont of film and tv production!
Special shout out to the Revolution Crew on this job for their hard work. And to some of the other suppliers on site who as ever were great craic to work with. Rebel Events, Press Eye Photography, Yellow Door Deli, North Down Marquees
