Our Patience workshop is happening THIS WEDNESDAY at Taddington Village Institute!

📅 Wednesday 2nd September
⏰ 10am-4pm
📍 Taddington Village Institute
👥 Ages 8-18

We'd love to see as many of our current members there as possible - but we're also really keen to meet some new faces!

If you know a young person who might enjoy theatre, performing or just trying something new, please share this with them. Whether they've been on stage before or never tried anything like this, they'll be very welcome.

A fun day exploring Gilbert & Sullivan’s Patience, with Chris Flint from the National Gilbert and Sullivan Company joining us for the day.

Whether they already love being on stage or fancy trying something new, they’ll be very welcome!

We’d especially love to meet some new faces — so bring a friend, share with someone who might be interested, or come and find out what Utopia is all about. 💚💗

🎭 We’re at Taddington Village Fete this weekend! 💗

We’ll be there Saturday and Sunday, spreading the word about Utopia Unlimited, our Patience workshop in September, and everything we’ve got coming up.

We’re especially excited to be there this year as Taddington Village Institute is now Utopia’s new home! We’d really like to become part of the local community, so it’s great to have the chance to get involved.

It’s our first time at Taddington Village Fete, so we’re looking forward to meeting more people from the village.

If you’re around, come over and say hello, have a chat and find out a bit more about us.

You won’t struggle to spot us… just look out for the bright pink Utopia gazebo! 😂💗

🏳️‍🌈 Proud to be LGBT+ Allies

On Tuesday, Alan and Georgina renewed their Derbyshire LGBT+ Allies accreditation.

For us, this is really important. Utopia is an inclusive youth theatre, and we want every young person who walks through our doors to know that they are welcome, supported and able to be themselves.

Being an ally is about more than wearing a badge or putting a rainbow on a post - it’s about continuing to learn, listening to young people and making sure Utopia is a safe and inclusive space for everyone.

A big thank you to John for leading the accreditation.

We’re proud to keep doing the work. 🏳️‍🌈

It was wonderful to spend time with our Rainbow Allies this Tuesday as they completed their annual reaccreditation.

A huge congratulations to Grave Expectations, Qualitymind Life Coaching, and Utopia Unlimited. These organisations continue to demonstrate a genuine commitment to inclusion, respect, and equity, and we're proud to have them as part of the Rainbow Allies community. If you're looking for a Funeral Director, Life Coach, or Theatre Group, we can highly recommend these wonderful people.
