Wow.

We're still smiling after an incredible weekend of Pirates of Penzance in Bakewell.

Thank you to everyone who came along, bought a ticket, shared a post, told a friend, or taken the time to send us a message. The cast, crew and volunteers have been overwhelmed by all the kind words and support. It means more than you know.

This production has been a real journey, with plenty of twists, turns and a few pirate-sized challenges along the way, and we're so proud of what our young people have achieved. Watching their confidence grow and seeing them take to the stage with such energy, talent and determination is exactly why we do what we do.

We're taking a couple of weeks to catch our breath, wash the costumes and recover from all the pirate chaos before setting sail again at Chapel-en-le-Frith Town Hall on Saturday 27th June.

What a fantastic weekend!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in Bakewell for The Pirates of Penzance. We had an amazing time bringing this show to life, and it was wonderful to share it with such supportive audiences.

We are so proud of our cast, crew, volunteers and everyone who helped make the production possible. The audience laughter, applause and lovely comments have meant the world to us.

Now we have a couple of weeks to catch our breath before we set sail once again for Chapel-en-le-Frith, where we'll be bringing Pirates back to the stage on Saturday 27th June.

What a day! 🏴‍☠️

A huge well done to every single member of the Utopia Unlimited cast, crew, creative team, volunteers and supporters after an incredible opening day of The Pirates of Penzance.

The audience absolutely loved it, and we couldn't be prouder of what our young people achieved on stage today. The energy, teamwork, confidence and enthusiasm shone through from start to finish. After months of rehearsals, hard work, laughter, problem-solving and the occasional bit of chaos, seeing it all come together in front of an audience was something really special.

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us today. Your applause, laughter and encouragement mean the world to our cast.

After months of rehearsals, the young cast of Utopia Unlimited are delighted to present Gilbert and Sullivan's much-loved comic opera, The Pirates of Penzance, at the Medway Centre, Bakewell.

Join us for an evening of pirates, policemen, maidens, misunderstandings and some of the most famous songs in musical theatre, including I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General and Poor Wandering One.
