This is the story of my leaf bowl/ platter.
I found an enormous leaf while out walking in the countryside. It came home with me ( yes,I did get some strange looks),and was rolled onto a pre made slab of clay and shaped into a bowl.
After a few weeks of slooooowwww drying,it was bisque fired and oxides were applied to the veins,before glazing.
It went back in the kiln for another firing and I've just packed it ready for the Beer Festival at Whitecraigs Rugby Club tomorrow.
