UWS Collective Reaction

Due to instructions from UWS asking students not to attend campus from Monday 16th March in response to the coronavirus outbreak, we regret to inform that our Creative Festival performances, due to begin Thursday 19th March, will no longer go ahead. The members of Collective Reaction are all sad to see this happen but understand that it is a necessary step for everyone's safety at this time. At this moment we do not know if and when we will get to perform for those who hoped to attend, as information surrounding campus closure is still fresh, but will be posting updates as soon as we are aware what will happen. Thank you all so much for your support so far, we are so grateful!

*UPDATE ON COLLECTIVE REACTION'S CREATIVE FESTIVAL DATES* There has been a very slight change in the performance dates. Wednesday's show has now been removed to allow for more material on the Thursday the 19th, Friday the 20th and Saturday the 21st of March. Each show will last around 2 hours with a 10/15 min interval.

Our class has been working super hard rehearsing for our pieces and our really excited to showcase the talent of our ensemble! Tickets can be purchased on the door or through our page for £5! (Please note poster says 4 days of performances but it is ONLY 3)

A huge congratulations and thank you to our ensemble member Danny Bingham for completing his run from Glasgow to Edinburgh last Friday. Danny has raised £280 which is incredible! Here are a few snaps that he got along the way 🏃‍♂️

It will be a huge challenge but we are grateful that Danny has taken it upon himself to do this in the name of our group. We are excited to announce that in just under 4 weeks we will begin 3 days of exciting shows showcasing the talent of our wonderful ensemble. Ranging from entirely new devised pieces to adaptions of established plays, and from dramas to musicals and comedies- each show will be something a little bit different.

Happy Monday everyone! We just wanted to thank you for helping us reach 100 likes in just under 2 weeks! In those two weeks we have already raised around £150 in a bake sale and we have just hit £215 for Danny's run which is incredible, so thank you to everyone that has donated so far!

Hello everyone! Thank you all again for the money raised at yesterday's bake sale. Our very own ensemble member Danny Bingham has decided to do a run from the Kings Theatre in Glasgow to the Kings Theatre in Edinburgh to raise some more funds for the show, and again any of the money that is not spent on our expenses will be going to a group of charities selected by members of the class! So please donate what you can and get behind Danny's huge run!
