🦋 Trying something a little different today, I’ve created a collage butterfly using scrap paper. I’ve used coloured pencil to create depth and detail. I quite like how busy and textured it’s turned out. I have a few ideas for this method.

✏️ It’s been a little too long since I had play on my iPad, to get in touch with it again I followed a tutorial on YouTube by ‘Artwithflo’. I love using this account for a little refresh!
🙈 My aim for this year is to regularly create something, digital or physical to keep the juices flowing. Life gets abit busy from time to time and I always fall into the hole of doing anything but creating. It’s time to kick the bad habit out and make room for me!

☀️ Happy New Year all, I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and New Years. After a long break over Christmas and some planning for my future, I’m back holding a paint brush!

This year is going to be very exciting for me, as I finally start my journey to my dream job! I can’t wait to start, roll on September!

🎃 Todays painting is very autumnal, I thought I’d change things up abit and try out my new sketchbook. Which is a ‘Strathmore Watercolour Travel Journal’, I’m amazed at how much water this paper can hold! It’s allowed my Windsor and Newton watercolours to really pop.

This time of year is so beautiful with the birds singing, the colours changing, leaves are falling. This is your reminder to go outside breathe some fresh air, practice some mindfulness.

This time of year can be difficult for some, the end of summer, the coming of winter.

Todays drawing is a digital drawing I created in Procreate. I haven’t drawn digitally much lately but I’m hoping I’ll balance myself out between digital and traditional. I hope you like it 🙀
