As you know, we always want Detectival to be the highlight of your detecting calendar, with great land, live music, the world’s favourite manufacturers, a huge selection of your favourite sellers, and a finds recording team to preserve the history we uncover.
As detectorists ourselves, we always want Detectival to have the best land, the best entertainment, and the best vibe, all whilst keeping our ticket prices as affordable as possible for everyone attending. This year has been challenging to meet those goals, as the land we wanted to use has become unavailable due to crop rotations.
So, we have taken the tough decision to pause Detectival this year rather than choose a site that didn’t have the history we desired.
Whilst we appreciate this will disappoint many people, we are already making plans for next year, which will undoubtedly be bigger and better than ever before.
