Quite a quiet day today, with some of our artists out sketching in the Market Square. As always, work was very varied. We also reflected on the success of our recent Open Day as part of Atherstone's Big Weekender. The feedback from visitors was very positive. A big thank you to all group members for their efforts in preparing for, setting up, working on the day and the final clear up. Well done all.

Message for members.

Don’t forget, this coming Thursday 11th June, there will be a display table set up for the art and craft work based around the London Zoo Challenge . It will be great to see all the work together. If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to send in photos to our what’s app page . Thanks😊🦓🐧

A Watercolour workshop on the subject of ‘Birds’ will be led by Claire Botterill and held in the YHQ from 10am - 4 pm . There will be around 10-12 places . More details , including cost and equipment needed , will be available soon .

Open Day Sunday June 7th

TIME CHANGE for members and volunteers

The YHQ will be open tomorrow morning from 8.30 instead of 7.30 as the inside displays are almost finished.
The outside displays will be done in the morning.

Thursday June 4th
Thanks to Kim for taking the photos of this week’s impressive art work.
This Sunday , 7th June , will see our third Open Day/ Art Show taking place in the YHQ at the rear of the car park of St Mary’s Church, Atherstone, 10am to 3pm. It’s free entry and an opportunity to view , and in some cases to buy, our members work created over the last twelve months or so . See you all on Sunday!
