One online workshop with a lived experience group, followed by a session with our Hearts & Minds regulars - both bursting with ideas, energy, and lots (and lots!) of joyful noise! 🎹

Armchair Adventures is our children’s podcast, created intergenerationally with our community, who shape the stories we tell to families around the world 🌎

To create our latest story, 'A Planet Exercise Adventure', we worked alongside people living with Parkinson’s and their carers to co-create a story about movement, connection and everyday life.

Together, we've created a playful, intergenerational podcast episode shaped by real experiences - showing that there are lots of different ways to move, and that what feels good can change from person to person.

At Shared Health Foundation's Homeless Families Conference: Dare to Hope, we shared 'Fresh Paint' - an audio story co-produced by people who have experienced temporary accommodation, in partnership with charity Groundswell UK.

Listening to lived experience voices sparked powerful conversations about the challenges families face and what needs to change. Because real progress doesn't come from speaking about people, it comes from listening to them.

Participatory arts are increasingly recognised as a way to understand lived experience and support meaningful change in health and care.

At Made By Mortals, we co-create stories and characters with people with lived experience, helping audiences connect emotionally with complex issues and see them differently.

Our research collaborations with academic and health partners help evidence this process, contributing to a growing body of work showing how creative, participatory approaches generate insight that can inform practice and systems change.
