Currently in The Lowry Theatre, Salford Quays, The Marriage of Figaro created by Opera North, has been described as "A delight from start to finish" (The Reviews Hub). The Splinter Scenery team had all hands on deck to create this magnificent set, working closely with set designer Madeleine Boyd.

The UK tour will soon continue at the Newcastle Theatre Royal and Hull New Theatre.

Have you seen the sold out show 'Road' at the Royal Exchange Theatre? Splinter Scenery were proud to have helped in creating the immersive experience of the production which bleeds out of the round and into the whole building. Updating our services on offer in our workshop and improving on our skillset with top quality machinery is always a priority for our team. Ensuring our set construction is to the highest standard.

Take a look at some tests we have been running with our new 3D printer. With a large print area of 1000x800x600mm we are able to create whatever forms our designers require.

Splinter is full of colourful characters, but their is no competition to the stars of the Bing's Birthday Tour currently making it's way across the UK.

This was a fantastically bright and colourful set to be creating in our workshop. We will share some behind the scenes shots soon!

Clearing out a bit of stock in our workshop, well reducing Alec's car collection at least! These three vehicles, of former Lady in the Van glory, will be scrapped and so this is your last opportunity to get hold of them! If anyone is interested, please contact us directly at [email protected]

Each vehicle has been stripped of all unnecessary components to make them as light as possible, perfect for touring purposes. The vehicles include:

1x Blue Commer van. £150. Stripped of all unnecessary components drastically reducing the weight allowing the van to be pushed on and off stage.

1x Yellow Commer van. £150. No motor, equipped with reinforced chassis and rated lifting points to allow the van to be lifted by theatre flying system.

1x Red Reliant three-wheeler. £500. Fitted with an electric motor to drive on/off stage.
