☀️ ALBION WARM WELCOME IS BACK TODAY! 💛

From 12.30–2.30pm today, the Memorial Chapel will once again be ready to welcome you for Albion Warm Welcome.

🍽️ Today’s lunch: Corned Beef Potato Hash
🥚 Alternative: Eggs / Beans on Toast
🍰 And, of course, there’s pudding too!

But Warm Welcome is about more than food. It’s about good company, friendship and having somewhere to belong. ❤️

The sun is shining, so why not get outside, come along and spend a couple of hours with us?

Even if you’re not coming today, please share this post with someone who might really enjoy getting out, meeting people and being part of the community.

🎄🎨 DESIGN OUR 2026 SYNOD CHRISTMAS CARD! 🎨🎄

Fancy seeing your artwork featured on the North Western Synod Christmas Card 2026?

The North Western Synod is inviting everyone to get creative and design this year’s Christmas card! ✨

Whether you’re an illustrator, painter, digital designer, a crafty church group — or simply someone who enjoys getting creative — this is your chance to have your artwork shared across the Synod.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Entries can be individual or group work, and people of all ages are welcome to enter.

🎅 What can you create?

Anything that captures the spirit of Christmas! Your design can be hand-drawn, painted or digitally created — it’s completely up to you.

📐 Please make sure your design is A4 so that it can be reproduced.

📩 How to enter

Send your design to [email protected] by 9th October 2026.

All entries will be displayed at the Autumn Synod on 17th October at the Chaplaincy Centre, Lancaster University, where those attending will choose their favourite.

🏆 The winning design will be announced at the end of Synod and will become the North Western Synod Christmas Card 2026!

✨ Why take part?

• See your design featured on the official Synod Christmas Card
• Share your creativity with churches across the North Western Synod
• Have fun creating something as an individual, family or church group
• Spread a little Christmas joy! 🎄

The winning design will be sent to churches, ministers and Ecumenical Partners across the Synod, with full credit given to the designer or church.

We’re delighted to welcome back our Tots at Albion families tomorrow, Tuesday 8th September, for another morning of play, fun, friendship and community. 💛

👶 Babies, toddlers and pre-school children are all welcome, along with their grown-ups!

🎉 Bingo & Brews is back! 🍻

Just a reminder that Bingo & Brews will be back to its usual time of 1:00–3:00pm.

Please remember that access is via the side door into the Memorial Chapel, as usual.

There is a funeral taking place in the main church from 12:00pm onwards, so please use the Memorial Chapel entrance when arriving for Bingo & Brews.

We look forward to seeing you all for an afternoon of bingo, brews and good company! ❤️🍻
